What We Collect

Basic Usage Statistics

We collect anonymous usage data to understand how people use the app. This includes:

• Which actions you perform (like publishing a post or scheduling)
• Your device type (iPhone or iPad)
• Timestamp of when actions occur

This data contains no personal information, post content, API keys, usernames, or unique identifiers that could identify you.

What We Don't Collect

• Your Typefully API key
• Post content, drafts, or threads
• Your social media usernames or profile data
• Images or videos you attach to posts
• Unique device identifiers or tracking IDs
• Personal information of any kind

How Your Privacy Is Protected

Keychain Storage

Your Typefully API key is stored in the iOS Keychain with "ThisDeviceOnly" protection. It is never logged, never included in analytics, and never transmitted except as a Bearer token directly to Typefully's API.

Local Draft Storage

Your drafts, selected platforms, and account preferences are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device.

On-Device Scheduling

Natural language date parsing uses Apple Foundation Models entirely on-device. No text is sent to external servers for processing.

Clean Logout

Logging out wipes everything — your API key from the Keychain, all local data from SwiftData, and any cached state. Nothing persists after logout.

Third-Party Services

Typefully API

Weave communicates with Typefully's API to publish posts, manage your queue, and fetch your account information. This communication happens directly between your device and Typefully's servers using your API key. We do not proxy or intercept this traffic. Please refer to Typefully's own privacy policy for how they handle your data.

Media Uploads

When you attach images or video, they are uploaded via presigned S3 URLs provided by Typefully. These uploads go directly from your device to Typefully's storage infrastructure.

Not an Official Typefully App

Weave is an independent, third-party app built for Typefully users. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Typefully in any way. Typefully is a trademark of its respective owner.

Data You Control

Your API Key

You can remove your API key at any time by logging out. This immediately revokes Weave's access to your Typefully account.

Local Data

All drafts and preferences are stored only on your device. Delete the app to remove all stored data.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we'll update this page and the app description in the App Store. Given that we collect minimal data, any changes would likely only involve clarifications or additional privacy protections.
